Yes, Indiana does, in fact, have a coastline. A whole 40 miles of it! And 15 out of that 40 is protected as a part of Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. The park is situated at the southern tip of Lake Michigan and makes for an excellent day trip from Chicago - it's just an hour's drive from downtown.

Okay, if you're planning a trip to Rome, most likely you're planning on going to Saint Peter's. As well you should - it's spectacular. But I'll assume you already know that Saint Peter's is awesome, so you don't need me to tell you about it.
You won't be surprised when I tell you there are a lot of churches in Rome. It is the center of the Catholic world after all. But seriously folks, there are A LOT of churches in Rome. Over 900, according to the 30 seconds of internet research I just did. Yowza! You can't possibly see that many churches in one visit!

This week's photo comes to you from Horicon Marsh in Wisconsin. A lot of people turn up their noses at the thought of visiting a swamp, but I think they're some of the most beautiful settings in the world. Something about the harmony between earth and water, plants and animals just feels really blissful and serene to me. Plus, they're a GREAT place to spot wildlife, like this little frog here peeking up through the marsh plants to say hello!
